About the Role
The Quality Technician is responsible for supporting daily quality operations with a strong focus on the effective management of non-conformities across customers, suppliers, and internal processes.
The role ensures timely problem resolution, actively manages quality performance, and contributes to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction in an international environment through close cross-functional collaboration.
What You’ll Do
Manage and track non-conformities related to customers, suppliers, and internal processes
- Coordinate containment actions to minimize impact on production and customers
- Drive and support root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa)
- Define, track, and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Ensure timely closure and sustainable resolution of quality issues across the value chain
- Monitor, analyze, and report quality KPIs (e.g., PPM, scrap, rework, complaints)
- Support definition and tracking of improvement targets
- Identify trends and trigger improvement actions
- Ensure data accuracy and transparency in reporting
- Support planning and conduct internal process and product audits
- Participate in customer and supplier audits
- Track and follow up on audit findings and ensure timely closure of actions
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and internal procedures
- Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Production, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues and drive improvements
- Act as a key interface between departments for all quality-related topics
- Collaborate with other international production sites to share best practices and ensure aligned quality standards
- Support escalation and communication processes internally and externally
- Support implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001, PED, ASME)
- Ensure compliance with standards, procedures, and work instructions
- Maintain proper documentation and traceability
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Support data-driven decision-making
- Promote quality awareness and accountability on the shop floor
- 2–5 years of experience in a quality or manufacturing (preferable pressure vessel) environment
- Experience in managing non-conformities across customer, supplier, and internal topics
- Knowledge of quality tools (8D, 5 Why, FMEA is a plus)
- Familiar with ISO 9001 standards and basic audit principles
- Good English skills (spoken and written)
